NOTICEBOARD

SEPTEMBER 2020

Our carefully risk assessed rehearsals/classes in a Covid-19 Secure environment will continue as planned for ‘educational purposes’ until further notice!

Venues following COVID-19 Secure guidelines CAN host more than 6 people in total, but no one should visit in a group of greater than 6. When you visit one of these places, you should:

*follow the limits on the number of other people you should meet with as a group
*avoid social interaction with anyone outside the group you are with, even if you see other people you know
*provide your contact details to the organiser so that you can be contacted if needed by the NHS Test and Trace programme

The Musicians Union have also clarified the situation with regard to performances and choir rehearsals. It seems that the 6 person rule does not apply as long as risk assessment and social distancing and other covid secure measures are in place.

Our guidelines in a nutshell:
Wear face covering
Social-distance
Arrive
Sign register
Sanitize hands regularly
Be seated ready to begin the music class
Exit following the one-way system

There will be no interval for refreshments/socialising so please bring a drink!

Seats will be placed 2m apart with a maximum capacity of up to 14 and the hall will be ventilated.

Full risk assessment and guidelines can be found on our website and are available to view prior to participating.

Following this weeks news, I hope this helps provide some clarity in these difficult and changing times! Keep calm and make music! 🙂

SUMMER CONCERT 2020

Our annual concert was due to take place on Sunday 31st May as part of the Hampton Bishop Open Gardens event in aid of St Michael's Hospice.
