Due to the latest Coronavirus situation we are having to change the way in which we meet in order to help prevent the spread of the virus and keep each other safe.
While these measures are in place, I aim to provide my services as best possible with the hope of maintaining some 'continuity' for choir members.
I will be offering distance-learning choir sessions via weekly video call using ZOOM in order to provide an opportunity for members to stay in contact, have a chat, sing some songs and keep spirits up!
Sessions will take place every tuesday 7:30pm-8:30pm until safe to meet again in person. Please allow time to setup and be ready for the call. I will initiate the call each week.
Everyone will be muted when it comes to singing together to avoid feedback.
The words & music to well-known popular songs broadcast from my pc to your device so that you can sing from your home. You will hear a full choir & accompaniment when singing at home. you can sing the part you are used to or add your own harmonies!
I recommend using a pc or tablet rather than a phone, use headphones with the volume turned up to a comfortable level & have reading glasses to hand if required - and a beverage of your choice!
To join the Sing4Joy community choir online group, click HERE and setup your free login and download the app to your device. The code to join the session is 430814647.
I invite members to make a financial contribution of £5 per session for taking part. You can do this securely by Paypal. Click the link below.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation and support during this difficult time.
Keep calm, stay safe, make music and carry on!
Tom Hughes (Music Practitioner/Director)
